In John 15:15 (NIV), Jesus says, “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”
A servant doesn’t ever really know his master.
There is always an invisible wall between an employee and his boss. There are expectations, duties, reluctance obedience at times, unspoken opinions, and as much as you think you and your boss are friends, you never really are.
BUT JESUS . . . the most “boss” of all IS our friend.
There are no walls with Jesus.
If you feel there is a wall, YOU built it, perhaps blaming God for whatever event happened in your life. The truth is you have free will to make whatever choices you want.
Jesus is the one waiting for YOU to want Him as your friend.
Do you want Jesus to be your friend? Then tell Him, talk with Him, get to know Him. He is waiting to listen.
